Todd found a chair and sat down in it, after having pulled it over beside Jason's bed.

"I wonder where Moon is. I hope we didn't wake anyone else with the racket," Alice said, her voice getting quiet as she spoke her second sentence.
She kept walking, occupying herself with something to do. She heard Jake's footsteps behind her, along with the sound of his voice. He was saying something to himself, but Alice easily tuned him out.
"Get back to sleep, Jake. I'm going outside."

Jake was following absentmindedly after Alice when he heard her say something about Moon.
"Awe, who cares where she's at?" he grumbled, irritated because of waking in the night. I should still be asleep. And then I wouldn't have to deal with one of my new "family members" until morning.
Jake was pulled out of his thoughts by Alice's voice, telling him to go to bed.
"Good. I'm off then," he sighed, entering his room and flopping down on the bed, where he fell asleep shortly.

There was no possible way Jason was going to sleep. Not after that nightmare... He looked over at Todd, while he got out his "talking" notebook. He wrote something.
Thank you for waking me up. I... often have nightmares. Just something that came with being the way I am... He handed the notebook to Todd.

Todd took the notebook. Reading it over, he nodded.

Jason looked around, finding the picture of his mother and handing it to Todd, taking back the notebook and writing again.
This... is a picture of my mother. She was the only one who accepted me... and they killed her for it.

Todd saw what Jason had written and looked away; his gaze met the ground. He had no words of comfort for Jason. He wasn't used to having a friend; he didn't know what to do in this situation. He simply sat there, waiting for some idication for what he was supposed to do here.

Jason felt tears well up in his eyes.
Damn camp counselors...

Sweeney Todd didn't know what to say to Jason, so he decided instead to say something about someone he loved being taken away from him.
"... My wife..." he started. He wasn't sure how to say it quite right, so he remembered what he'd said to the young lad he'd met out at sea who'd found him as he sailed the ocean having gotten out of prison.

"There was a barber and his wife, and she was baeautiful. A foolish barber and his wife; she was his reason and his life, and she beautiful. And she was virtuous. And he was naive.
"There was another man who saw that she was beautiful. A pious vulture of the law, and with the gesture of his claw, removed the barber from his plate. Then there was nothing but to wait. And she would fall so soft, so young, so lost and oh-so beautiful. ...Oh, that was many years ago. I doubt if anyone would know," he sang, a song of himself and his wife, with the Judge who'd sent him away.
He added afterwards in a low, raspy voice, "There's a whole in the world like a great black pit and it's filled with people who are filled with sh!t and the vermin of the world inhabit it."

Jason looked at Todd with a kind of sadness that they both shared.
We both lost loved ones... Jason thought, looking to his mother's picture again.

Todd sat in silence beside Jason.

Alice was outside, standing on a tree branch in one of the tallest trees around. She was surveying the area with lazy eyes. Looking around, she spotted a few anmal choices, which she decided she would use as food in a week or two; whenever the need to feed was intense again.

Jason looked around, the silence was starting to get... uncomfortable...

Todd could tell that Jason was begining to feel uncomfortable, and he was as well. He got up and left the room, wanting the uncomfortable feeling to go away.

Alice was still outside, but Jacob was loud enough for her to hear even if her hearing wasn't so delicate. He'd started yelling about something; she was trying to tune him out.

"MOON! WHERE ARE YOU? I WANT BREAKFAST AND YOUNEVER SHOWED ME WHERE TO GET FOOD!" Jake was yelling, his hair a mess from just getting out of bed. His stomach felt like a pit that needed o be filled. Soon. He was angry about not knowing where food was. He wanted to get some breakfast.
Where the hell is she! he thought angrily.

Moon rolled her eyes.
Room at the end of the hall, Jacob! She yelled back, chuckling.

"Thanks!" Jacob yelled, trying to seem like he had some manners. He took off running to the room at the end of the hall, swinging the door open.
"Finally!" he exclaimed, happy that he was going to get some food.

Jason heard his stomach growl loudly.
Oh, damn... He walked down to the room Jacob had gone into, which was a kitchen/dining room. He picked up an apple and turned away from Jacob, lifting his mask and taking a bite out of the apple.

Jacob hardly noticed Jason enter the room, too preoccupied with the food. He was practically drooling over himself as he picked out a bag of Doritoes that h found in a cupboard.

"YES! DORITOES!" he exclaimed, tearing open the bag and shoving a fistfull of the chips into his mouth. As h did so, he remembered fighting a member of his old pack; a member of Sam's pack, over a bag of Doritoes. His body froze for a spilt second at the memory, but he continued eating immediately afterwards. He hoped that Jason hadn't noticed.
